11.3% raises are not normal in any economy. Nobody in the private sector is getting them, and nobody in the public sector should, either. Especially when the MTA is beyond broke and isn’t getting any support from Albany. If the TWU wants to complain, they should complain to the legislature - not call the new MTA chief a “doodyhead.”

OTA HDTV is awesome
I canceled my cable a few months ago. I didn’t regret it for a moment… until I wanted to watch the Yankees in the ALCS. Justin suggested I get an antenna. It seemed silly. I got one. Over the air HDTV is fantastic. The picture — and even the sound — is much better than cable’s HDTV. It’s fantastic.
