No Growth, No Jobs, and No Help From Washington -... →
An excellent examination of the economy’s impact on the deficit and an unlikely prescription for improving the deficit — spending more. Unfortunately it takes a bit of a dark and cynical tone, but the reality is that there ”’is”’ a path forward. It’s just not being taken.

felixsalmon: There’s been a lot of shamefacedness and embarrassment on Twitter from people who tweeted the false news that Piers Morgan had been suspended from CNN. I can see why: a lot of the tweeters were professional journalists, foremost among them Channel 4 News’s Jon Snow. And professional journalists hate to report something that’s wrong. That said, one of the things I like about Twitter...

This is the one thing that’s holding me back from Safari being my “one browser to rule them all.” I’m so used to being able to hit cmd-# for a specific tab, and in Safari that key combination just calls up the corresponding bookmark in the bookmarks bar. The cmd+{ and cmd+} shortcuts are much less efficient when you have more than a couple tabs open at a time.
