Iraqi police celebrated after a parade in Baquba, a day ahead of the June 30 withdrawal of U.S. forces from all of Iraqi cities.
There are big things going on in the world. A train carrying gas blowing up in Italy, an airliner with 150 passengers crashing in the Indian Ocean, the coup in Honduras, the Bernie Madoff sentencing, Steve Jobs returning to work, Iran ruling the election results are final, Michael Jackson hangover, etc. But this is pretty big and I’m surprised at how little attention it’s getting. Iraq is almost completely forgotten.
