Couldn’t AOL steal Twitter’s lunch if it wanted to?
Maybe I am overestimating the number of people who use AOL Instant Messenger but I feel like it has been underutilized as a device to do more than just send instant messages.
I’ve likely used it more than any other application since 1997.
It seems like a no brainer for it to be a hybrid instant messenger / microblogging app, not unlike tweetdeck.
I wonder why they haven’t done this already.
They’re doing this now.
