J.Crew Group Inc., the U.S. clothing retailer, rose 7.7 percent after the close of New York trading after reporting that third-quarter profit more than doubled. Net income advanced to $43.9 million, or 67 cents a share, from $19 million, or 30 cents, a year earlier, the New York- based company said today in a statement. Revenue climbed 14 percent to $414.1 million.
