Obama Leads McCain In Four More Battlegrounds - Quinnipiac University
Quinnipiac University released four new polls today that show Obama with a solid lead over McCain in four key states: CO, MI, MN and WI.
- Colorado: Obama leads McCain 49 - 44 percent, including 51 - 39 percent among independent voters;
- Michigan: Obama tops McCain 48 - 42 percent, with 46 - 38 percent among independents;
- Minnesota: Obama buries McCain 54 - 37 percent, and 54 - 33 percent with independents;
- Wisconsin: Obama leads McCain 52 - 39 percent, and 50 - 37 percent with independents.
It’s still early. Can he hold these leads? I believe he can if he campaigns like Reagan and not Mondale — in other words, if he maintains the Obama Substance Gap. Put another way, I believe that Obama may well be the Left’s Reagan.
