Things that drive me bananas about Tumblr (, sorry Karp)

dpstyles:

#1.  I just created two posts in the “link” style.  With both I wanted to include a headling + photo + description, but none of these styles let me do that.  “Text” or “Link” = no photo.  “Photo” = no headline.  Annoying.

#2.  Users can’t leave comments.  Makes me wonder while I’m even posting thoughts on Tumblr (answer: because it’s easy and I don’t feel like dealing with slow ass MT again).

#3. Auto importing of photos etc.  I tried this a bunch of times… just tag my Flickr pix with a special tag (e.g.  2tumblr”) and the automatically get sucked in and put over here - awesome.  Buuuuttt, whenever you do that it (a) grabs the smaller, awkward size image, (b) strips out the title of the image and just adds it to the “caption” field and (c) strips out all the line breaks!   WTF!

Suggestions here?  Just switch to MT?  But i Love this little Tumblr Bookmarklet thing!  Is there something similar for MT, etc?  Anyone?

    Actually, you can include a photo in a text post. You can just copy and paste a photo, or just use the “insert/edit”...
