But even he doesn’t seem to understand how media narratives have developed in recent years. Who was challenging Frank Rich, Maureen Dowd, Tim Russert, and the reporting teams at The New York Times and Washington Post during their two-year war against Gore? When they branded the same John McCain a saint in 2000?
