And what we are seeing now is the stronger ad networks are picking up funding to shore up their positions and the weaker ones are getting bought
People seem to forget that consolidation is Darwinian, and cyclical. Strong companies grow by acquiring the pieces they need, and innovation wins either way.
A good product is made better, and actually available to the community, or a smart and talented entrepeneur gets to move on to his or her next venture.
We wouldn’t be talking about innovations in social media and the Web right now if the bubble didn’t burst 9 years ago. We’d still be watching these commercials.
