About Me

I'm a New Yorker living in London by way of San Francisco. I grew up in Connecticut, dropped out of high school at fifteen, moved to New York as soon as I could and then eleven years later to San Francisco and then London. Work took me to San Francisco, my English wife took me to London.

After I dropped out of high school I went to work at a start-up and totally caught the bug. I worked for the National Hockey League and AOL/Time Warner for a while after that first start-up but then started a company as soon as I could. That company was called Blip and we did online video. Blip's now a part of the Walt Disney Company.

After Blip my wife and I moved to San Francisco and we both went to work at Facebook. I started out doing Identity and Privacy there, but then after the IPO moved over to Ads. I ran the Ads product team at Facebook during a really critical time and I'm very proud of what we achieved.

After Ads I moved over to Friend Sharing, where I was responsible for all of the content posted on Facebook by ordinary people.

When 2016 rolled around we moved to London and I went to work for Deliveroo as CTO and CPO. Deliveroo is a food delivery start-up and Europe's fastest growing company. While at Deliveroo I led product, engineering, design, data science and other functions and built the team, strategy and product to be able to deliver significant growth. I also had a lot of fun.

And then, a couple years ago, I helped found Blossom Capital, a Series A venture capital fund in London.

In my spare time I read a lot and like to go to my daughter's swimming lessons. Nothing beats those.
